Heywood Island

We anchored at Heywood Island on August 5. It is a small island with two smaller islands right next to it. There is protected water between the islands, but not much else here. It is densely forested so not easy to get around, although the guide book says it's good for birding. I did my birding from the boat. Steve and Ryder paddled to shore for short walk.

The big event while we were here was the sunset. This is perhaps the best one I've seen yet. Well worth the visit.

Morning and off to Little Current
