Welcome!

We are making the "Great Loop" - up the east coast, through the Great Lakes and into Canada, and then down the Mississippi and around Florida. It promises to be the adventure of a lifetime! We invite you to join us through our blog.

It's good to be a mother!

We spent a glorious two days and nights with Sara, Ryan and Olivia at Belhaven, NC. What a wonderful Mother's Day present! And we were able to Skype with Rebecca and Chris yesterday. Can't ask for better than that!

There are a few photos of our surroundings, but mostly the baby (of course). The Piechotas left after breakfast this morning and we left soon after. It has been a long day - from Belhaven to Elizabeth City. Hopefully we will take tomorrow off, so that we can see Elizabeth City sights. I really love looking around old cities, and this is one of the oldest in North Carolina.

Look what we found!

That's a happy Granny!

Grampy was pretty happy too.

She's stingy with the kisses, but Papa got one.

She was worn out after our walk.
